CORE POLICY

Effective March 1st, 2014
Many products are sold on an exchange basis.  Your worn pump, injector, turbocharger, etc, will need to be sent to us, for core credit.  A dollar value is assigned to your original item, and this core value is made known to you at the time of the sale.  Previously we did not charge up front for your core, but this sometimes caused people to not return a core at all.    So... to avoid all that, please READ, UNDERSTAND, and AGREE to the core policy below, BEFORE making your purchase.
CORE RETURN POLICY
* Please return your core within 15 days of receiving your product.
* The core must be in good running condition for full credit to apply.
* Please return the core in our box WITH the invoice being provided.
* Products returned without the proper documentation will not be credited.
* There will be a $25 per week late charge if core is not received on time.
Thank you for your business. We hope to serve you again in the future.

* Please return your core within 15 days of receiving your product.  This means 15 days from RECEIPT of the item we shipped you.  Additional time can be negotiated, but charges may apply.

* The core must be in good running condition for full credit to apply.

* Please return the core in our box WITH the invoice being provided. Our products which require a core exchange are shipped in reusable packaging, and in most cases with pre-paid return shipping labels supplied.  When you made your purchase a seperate invoice was created indicating the charge for not returning a core.  This invoice will be credited in full if you send a core  in the time alloted.

* Products returned without the proper documentation will not be credited. Proper documentation is the aforementioned core invoice.  We can't credit you if we don't know who you are and what you bought.  Our invoice assures that we will give you proper credit.

* There will be a $25 per week late charge if core is not received on time.   This means we will deduct this amount from the residual value of the core, and then credit you back the difference IF you get the item back to us in time to avoid using up all your refund credit.

Thank you for your business!

How do you know if you have a good core?

Injection pumps - Cores will consist of items which appear undamaged, can have their drive rotated and are not rusty inside or out.  While it may not be possible to know if the head and rotor are damaged, a seized head and rotor will not qualify as a good core.  This is why we strongly suggest that the pump be known to operate (albeit possibly with some anomaly) prior to removal.

Injectors - Cores will appear intact, not be missing any tips or other parts, and if they are electrically operated, have intact wiring and plastic parts.

Turbochargers - Must be complete, and in most cases have exhaust and intake housings that are undamaged.

The above is a guide, and cannot be guaranteed to produce a usable core.  Conestoga Diesel Injection, and it's partners reserve the right to determine the usability of a core and its value.
